The Public Art Commission is due to consider Thursday a controversial proposal to remove the Midtown Poetry Wall from Palo Alto’s permanent collection of public art.

The 38th Annual Moonlight Run and Walk will take place on Friday evening, September 9. Proceeds will go to the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund, benefiting local nonprofit organizations that serve families and children in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
